Job descriptions for Material Handling work
The following job descriptions fall under the general heading of millwright:
Industrial mechanic: Installation and maintenance of conveyors incl belt replacement and tracking, installation and repair of rack and shelving.
Welder: Welding of structural rack legs, catwalks, and conveyor hangers
Requirements
General mechanical experience especially with experience on conveyors, and/or Welding experience
Must provide personal hand tools
5 years work experience in industrial mechanical or welding work
Transportation required. We are located in San Antonio, however much of the work is in San Marcos
Must not be acrophobic. Some of the work is at 20’ to 60’ in height
Must be able to pass random drug testing
Requires extensive night and weekend work
Job Positives
Retired or prior Military preferred
Military MOS in any electrical/mechanical maintenance field
Forklift drivers licence
Certified welder’s certificate
5 years experience in maintenance/installation of industrial conveyors
Job Negatives
Previous drug history
Any serious arrest record
