The difference is service. Hawkins Enterprises can provide complete turnkey service for your conveyor installations. Starting with layout and engineering design of a material handling system to suit the needs of the customer, the services can include CAD design of the conveyor system including the necessary controls. Not many conveyor suppliers can also provide complete control systems. Controls can be very simple or can include PLC and/or Computer based controls with printing of identifying bar codes, routing of packages to proper destinations based on bar code information, and providing the bar code to the customer's inventory control computer when the parts have been shipped. Complete mechanical and electrical installation of the conveyor and controls and startup assistance including operator training are part of the service available.
